At L of a way 2 Pass we think we do a pretty good job! We help learner drivers to pass their test and become safe, confident drivers. We train driving instructors so they can pass these specialist stress-busting techniques onto their pupils, and we help people overcome a range of issues from fears and phobias and driving anxiety to coping with panic attacks and many other emotional issues. But we wouldn't expect you to just take our word for it, so here are just a few of the lovely things our clients have said about us:

These instructors work wonders. I've passed first time today and would never have ever thought I'd have done it. It's because of Diane and Chris that this has happened. I've put it off for so long and they believed in me making it possible for me to pass. I'm completely over the moon and would highly recommend Chris and Diane they are amazing and are so passionate at what they do. Natasha Johnston, Newcastle Under Lyme
I suffer from severe anxiety and I was very nervous about learning to drive, as my experience with a previous instructor hadn't been very positive. However, Diane put me completely at ease and with the help of her TFT techniques she took all the stress out of learning to drive. I felt very comfortable driving with her and went on to pass my test without any problems, Sue McKay, Longton, Stoke on Trent
I can't thank Chris & Diane enough for helping me to pass my test. I went to Chris & Diane after I did a one week fast pass course and failed my first test... I was a bag of nerves and very stressed and anxious about having lessons again as I thought driving wasn't for me. I had my lessons with Chris and he helped me so much. I got my confidence back, and I felt comfortable being with him. He makes you feel relaxed and your lessons are so chilled.... and I passed on my first attempt with him. I'd definitely recommend Chris & Diane for driving lessons. 5* service and I can't thank them enough. Anna Causley, Stoke on Trent
Diane is an extremely motivational and patient instructor. Her ways of teaching are diverse and so is undoubtedly able to find a method to suit your individual style of learning. I left in control of the pace of the lessons whilst still being challenged. I always felt at ease and confident when driving due to her positive attitude and wealth of experience in the field. I would definitely recommend Dianne to anyone who is looking for lessons, whether its for the first time or just a refresher. Hannah Burdett, Stoke on Trent
Highly recommended with wonderful instructors who put you at ease and do their utmost to help you pass because they believe you can do this, did wonders for my confidence too! The book is a must, excellent tool to enable you to pass with confidence. Marie-Laure Clark (France - but not when having lessons!)
If you are looking to find an instructor that you are comfortable with, has time to help you learn the best way that you learn , have a laugh and a friend for life then look no further than Diane and Chris they are the most loveliest people I have ever met in my life they have helped me so so much I can't thank them enough . I highly recommend these lovely people to anyone. Samantha Stevenson, Stoke on Trent
Do driving instructors think the techniques work?
The person you gave me advice on how to deal with his test day nerves passed on the first attempt following my using your guidance and L of a way 2 Pass techniques. Many thanks, and he has recommended my services to others.
Alan Jamieson. (driving instructor, Scotland)
Yesterday I had a pupil who was going for her test, she was extremely nervous and convinced that she would not pass .I used the L of a way 2 Pass technique for 'reversal' and 'nervous about the test' and immediately after the first time she felt calmer, used it again just before going to the centre to lessen the nerves again. She came back with not only a pass but a pass with only 1 minor fault. She was 'over the moon' and could not believe it possible!!
You may use this example in any future seminars and/or on the website as a testimonial.
Regards, David Emmerson, Disley School of Motoring.
I purchased your excellent book "L of a way to pass". Which is the main reason for writing. I read your book over a weekend and I can thoroughly recommend it. I was inspired to try 'tapping' with a pupil who had a test the following week. I had come to know Nancy (not her name) very well during our twice weekly sessions. A delightful girl with a steely determination that one day, no matter how long it took, she would become a driver. The first dozen lessons began with a car park session before she declared herself ready to face the road! A lack of confidence and various co-ordination issues made for slow progress. I forget how many lessons we had with her objective "Today I want to conquer roundabout's"
Nancy developed into an excellent driver but on her 3 previous attempts at test she was extremely nervous. With test 4 a few days away she agreed to try your L of a way 2 Pass techniques. Sitting in the test centre she told me she "I don't think it's working." But we had a final few taps and some deep breathing. She returned 40 minutes later with a 3 fault pass! In her own words “after a nervy 5 minutes I just settled down.” This was backed up by the driving examiner’s comments "You went off like your pants were on fire and picked up the faults by the end of the road. The rest of the drive was fine" It's not possible to say how much the tapping helped, but I'm impressed by the result. I don't know how it works but it does! Many thanks for writing such a useful book.
Best wishes, From Don Gillies
Diane...This was a good session and very informative. I am a sceptic, and perhaps I have a right to be when you consider some of the things I have seen (Brian is ex army and police sergeant, working on traffic and fatal accidents) ... That said, I cannot fault the results. Two of my pupils are definitely showing early improvements and, one of them amazed me.
Briefly, his first couple of lessons it was not unusual for him to panic and even let go of the wheel. On the lesson following the workshop ...in two hours because he was progressing so confidently (and I wanted to push him a little) we did...Dual Carriageways, Turn in the road, move-off downhill and bay parking ...all of which were executed brilliantly and followed a brief session of TFT to correct ‘General Psychological Reversal
What do driving instructors think of our training courses?
TTC is a leading provider of driver training and education, delivering over 1,000,000 hours of driver education per year through our panel of over 350 trainers, many of whom are Approved Driving Instructors. As part of our commitment to our teams’ Continual Professional Development we commissioned Diane to deliver a series of inter-active Thought Field Therapy workshops to members of our trainer panel around the Country.
I was encouraged by her commitment and work-ethic, as well as the quality of her workshops and delivery. She demonstrated that she could deliver a quality product exactly in-line with the brief she was given. It was a pleasure to work with her on this programme, the feedback we have received from our trainers has been positive and highly complimentary. We will definitely be using her again in the future.
I would highly recommend Diane Hall to any organisation that is looking to offer its’ staff worthwhile development training.

I recently attended a Workshop which was run by Diane Hall on ‘Thought Field Therapy’ I have attended many courses and workshops over the years and I have to say that this outshone all of them
Diane’s presentation style is brilliant. I was focused for the whole session, and left wanting more. I was sceptical about TFT but it worked! There is a particular part of one of the courses I run which I used to feel very anxious about. It worked for me. My confidence has increased hugely. I would recommend the workshop I attended to anyone.
I can confirm that I attended your workshop earlier this year. I have been a driver trainer since 1985, when I qualified as a police class one instructor. I also joined the DVSA register upon retirement in 2004. I carry out a variety of training roles both with novice clients and also both fleet and police driver offender rehabilitation courses.
I was very impressed with your presentation and have used the techniques in all training environments since with very good results. I have no doubts that your presentation and techniques will be of great value to both schools and teachers alike.

Having recently attended a workshop run by Diane Hall I approached it with an open mind because as driving instructors we are constantly meeting people from all walks of life with differing learning requirements, so I feel we need to be able to adapt to whatever style of learning is required.
At the workshop Diane made everyone feel at ease and got everyone involved right from the start. Diane has an easy going style but is constantly keeping the subject matter interesting and lively. There are lots of interactive sessions ranging from slides to group activities and I found the whole workshop thoroughly engaging.
If you are thinking of using a change in approach to help people get over exam nerves, the system that Diane uses can certainly help and also change people’s concept about how to get rid of those negative feelings. When you listen to Diane talk on this you will see she is a person who is passionate about what she does and easily brings people around who are a little reserved about change.

Just thought I would drop you a line. Was lovely meeting you on Wednesday. I thought that your workshop was amazing. I was completely engrossed all the way through. Today I used the techniques on a lady who had never been on a motorway as she was terrified of driving on them. I managed to get her driving on the M20 and M2 using your Thought Field Therapy techniques. She was amazed.
Kind regards, Jo Howes-Watson, Forest Hill, London, 29th July 2013
This is just a short note to say thank you for providing what I found to be a wonderfully enlightening workshop. The subjects covered along with proof positive demonstrations have left me in no doubt that these techniques have an incredibly significant part to play alongside my more traditional styles of instruction. I think we all found your style of delivery warm, friendly and easy to absorb so am pleased to wish you every success in the future in all the fields you intend developing and promoting.
Yours sincerely, Rohan Borsberry DSA (ADI Car), Learnertrain Driver Tuition.
Thank you for a very professionally presented, entertaining and thought provoking workshop on Wednesday.
I can't wait to put your ideas into practice on my pupils (I have one this weekend where she will be tapping to 'eliminate past trauma and upset' and I will be tapping myself for the 'frustration' of not being able to help her more in the past.
I would not hesitate to recommend your book/ workshop to anybody wanting to find more effective ways to get through to students who otherwise might struggle to reach their full potential.
First of all I would like to say a huge thank you for the workshop that you ran in June at TTC House. I found it very informative and extremely uplifting. You delivered a top presentation and you made the workshop extremely interesting. I also appreciated that you went that mile further by helping me with the sleeping issues I have with my daughter. We are still fighting the battle, however we have gained two nights undisturbed sleep out of seven!!!
Thank you once again for your help and I wish you all the best for the future.
Kind regards, Andrea Fretter, IAM Advanced Driver, Member ADI NJC, Member DIA, Brake Volunteer, Smartdriving Approved Driving Instructor Trainer., 2012 London Olympic Volunteer Trainer
“Quick email to say thanks for a really great course, I was very impressed. Does this stuff work OMG! The OMG ! was today. In brief, I am working with a lady in her 40's who had a very minor incident on the dual carriageway. No collision, but the back end of her car slid out, which has left her terrified to go near that stretch of road, and she goes to bits. She did the technique for anxiety whilst thinking about driving down that particular stretch of road, the most 'feared' bit. She then said 'I can't really remember which corner it was'...my jaw hit the floor as she had just told me that for 14 years she has been vividly picturing that corner….and now she can't even remember which one it was!
Not only that, but she has just driven down that stretch of dual carriageway with totally relaxed body language; this is the first time in 14 years that she has driven on this particular road.”

Would just like to say how much I enjoyed today's course .You were professional and presented in a warm, passionate & knowledgeable manner which meant everybody was comfortable to contribute something & was able to take away some valuable learning points.
Trying to cover in 4 hrs a vast subject is very difficult but you managed to provide a sound foundation.
I will recommend & endorse your course to others.

Just a quick note to say thank you for the excellent workshop yesterday. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and have a good insight into how the techniques could be used to help all pupils - can't wait to get started now
From our other clients:
In May 2017 I had a cycling accident. It was a very traumatic experience for me.
Whilst cycling along a quiet canal towpath I misjudged the height of the next bridge and at a reasonable speed I collided with the bridge which knocked me unconscious. I ended up following my bike into the canal.
I regained consciousness only to find that I was underwater and caught up on my bike at the bottom of the canal.
Eventually I was able to get free but I was in such I panicking state
I couldn't think clearly. I had no oxygen left, I accepted I was going to drown.
At the very last moment my feet found the bottom and I just about managed to find the energy to stand up and surface.
As I coughed up the water, the shock really hit me and I experienced a massive panic attack. I remember shouting and screaming until my voice gave out.
After a very long time someone walking along helped me get out finally.
In the following days and months I suffered from massive shock, denial, anxiety, panic attacks, fatigue, insomnia, flashbacks, nightmares, intrusive thoughts and dreams, endless emotional episodes.
rapid mood swings, poor concentration, memory problems, self harm and thoughts of suicide.
My job became very difficult for me to do it properly.
Everyday shopping, going a train, using lifts all got hard as I found it made my anxiety worse going to places where alot of people would be.
After 9 months of talking therapy, I wasn't getting better. In fact I was getting worse. Also I'd analyzed my accident so much it had become a habit for me.
I thought about it 24hours a day.
It was all I could think about.
You saved me from my problems getting any worse, and you understand exactly what it is like to experience pain and difficult times. He was in a serious accident and for 11 years after a paraplegic and wheelchair bound.
He experienced anxiety, panic attacks, pain seizures all the whilst stuck in the wheelchair.
After a operation to remove scar tissue, Chris spent 3 years learning to walk again.
He spent many years studying psychology and now teaches his own unique course of therapy helping people find happiness and understanding in their lives.
Chris helped me to stop looking at my cycling accident for answers that weren't there.
How to regain control of my emotions.
With his expertise Chris helped me with my anxiety and panic attacks.
It was a truly fantastic moment when Chris helped me to smile for the first time in nearly a year.
My memory is slowly improving now.
The insight that Chris gives is not difficult and he will go at your own pace.
It's best to have a pen and paper with you so you can make a few notes .
Ask as many questions as you can, he's there to help you.
Chris helped me to overcome a lot of problems.
He's made a difference to my life.
Thank you .
